How to Make Hemp Milk
I have experimented with making a variety of different ‘plant-based’ milks and this one is by far my favorite. This recipe is very easy, won’t take you longer then 5 minutes, doesn’t require soaking, straining or any tools other then a blender.
Homemade Hemp Milk
1/2 Cup Hemp Seeds
4 Cups of Water
2 pitted Medjool Dates (can sub for 1 Tbsp of Maple Syrup, or 1 Tbsp Agave)
1/4-1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
**option to add more sweetener, of choice, for a sweeter milk. You can also remove it entirely. If you want to get creative you can add vanilla.
Blend everything in a high speed blender until smooth, taste and adjust the flavors as needed. Store in an air tight sealable container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Recipe adapted from Minimalist Baker.
